Jeffrey Campbell!!!!!

I have recently found this shoe designer like last week. I don't know how popular he is or what but I have SEVERAL pairs of shoes that I love by him. They are pricey but not too bad. I found a pair at a store in town that I am in love with. I may just purchase them if they are a wedge and I haven't bought a pair of heels in a looonnnngggg time.

Ok. so I was blog stalking and ran across a post from The Velvet Bird. She details her search for good quality tights. She wrote several different companies asking them about their products. One company,We Love Color, sent several pairs for her to test and she approved. They are $12 a pair with $5 flat rate shipping. Let me tell you... they have EVERYYYYYY color imaginable. When the weather starts getting cooler I will definitely be looking into purchasing from them 'cause right now my legs can't conceive being covered by anything except sunscreen. They also have leggings and fishnets if that is more your cup 'o tea.

P.S. They have headbands in EVERYYYY color too. I might have to relapse...

So I have given into  peer pressure (given by the one, the only Grace Grindstaff) and got a twitter. What I will do with it, I have no idea. As any self-promoting twitter-er would do: Follow me at

Well, school has been over for two or three weeks. I now have 3, yes 3 summer jobs, and I am anticipating my move back to Rock Hill, to my little green house.

Here are some summer pictures.

Happy Summer!!

Me an Martin had a date night the other night. We had delicious Outback and we watched a movie that he had really wanted to see. I watched the trailer and decided to go along with it. It is called "Ink" and it is directed and produced by Jamin Winans who has mainly made shorts for his youtube channel. Anyway, we watched it because we had heard good things about it, REALLY good things about it. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 100%. HOLY COW! It was a phenomenal movie. It is slow in the beginning and it's weird but the ending erases any doubts you have. I cried and Martin claims he thought about shedding a man tear. Even if he had, I wouldn't have been able to witness it since his beard would have destroyed it.

It's about how there are two forces after you go to sleep. A good force, the Storytellers, give good dreams. The Incubi give nightmares. A drifter by the name of Ink comes and kidnaps a little girl for a sacrifice so he can become a Incubi. The warriors work through the girl's father to save her from the drifter.

Here is the trailer:

Released in 2009, it is a short film, only about 90 mins long, and is found on netflix or hulu. It is worth your time. I was so excited about it we took Martin's computer to his parents and talked them into watching to. Therefore, we watched it twice in one night.

"So Here is the Story from A to Z"

Some days I wish I was English. Born and bred in England or in the UK (I am not too picky). I am super jealous of my friend Thelma who just spent 4 months studying abroad in England. While, I can afford to go and as much as I want to be, will never English. I live vicariously through English pop music. So here is a sample of my favorites right now.

Kate Nash's "Foundations":

Florence + The Machine's "Dog Days":

You also can't forget to include Lady Soverign or Natasha Bedingfield ("I got a pocket, a pocket full of sunshine"). Interesting fact is that Taio Cruz is English. Oh and how about Lily Allen and the Spice Girls.
